Brett and Brittany

 I had met Brett and Brittany at her aunt’s wedding last Spring. Brett had the ring and wanted to propose to Brittany. That next day we created the perfect plot and Brett got down on one knee with Brittany’s family around. She said yes! I still remember a year later when Brittany, Rachel (Brittany’s mother) and I sat down over coffee to talk about her and Brett’s wedding. It was going to take place in Mexico. I almost died because this is a wedding photographer’s dream and Brittany wanted me to travel with her to shoot her wedding in Mexico. I love to travel, but I was nervous for I had never been out of the country.  I am so blessed to have Brittany and Brett in my life and even more blessed to have been celebrating alongside on their wedding day!!

 Last week about this time we were in paradise! On Saturday 03, 2016 everything came together beautiful. It’s not easy to plan a wedding so far away but Brittany being a travel agent herself, it was perfect! The day started off hot and steamy; Mexico is very humid. When I arrived at the bridal suite in the Vassa Spa, the room was relaxed and ready for the bride. Most wedding days are hectic with a crunched timeline. Brittany wanted to enjoy every second of being in Mexico. The girls all sipped mimosas while Brittany got her hair and makeup done and the constant laughter in the room was contagious. After the first look with her dad, there was not a dry eye nearby.

The ceremony took place on the resort’s breathtaking beach! White sand and clear blue waters. IT WAS BEYOND PERFECT!  Everyone was welcomed with margaritas and once the bride and groom said “I do” the guest were toasting with champagne! We watched as the sky turn as blue as the ocean and captured some incredible portraits on the beach after the ceremony. The reception was adorned in black and pink, and the night finished with a balloon exit.

Brittany and Brett: I still can’t thank you enough for taking me to Mexico. It was truly was an amazing experience and adventure. I’m so thrilled for two of you and again another HUGE Congratulations on being Mr. and Mrs. Norris!
