About two weeks ago, we got to spend the day with Melanie. A graduating senior from Walkertown High School in Walkertown, North Carolina, and it truly was a pleasure to get to know her. This beautiful young lady is graduating next spring and has so much going for her.

Melanie is the Varsity Cheerleading Captain with an All-American award, Coach’s Award and two time MVP. An exciting thing to hear was that this past New Year’s, she was a part of the Buffalo Wild Wing’s Citrus Bowl All-American Halftime Show. She is also the President of National Honor Society. She is a founder and President of the Agriculture Club. Last but not least the Vice President for student government. She loves volunteering and is very active member in Morris Chapel United Methodist Church youth group.

Melanie’s senior photoshoot started at Susan’s Dance Unlimited Studio on Main Street in Kernersville, North Carolina. Melanie has been dancing since she was one year old, she continues to dance to this day on the competition team and is also teaching some.

The other portion of her photoshoot was at her Pawpaw’s farm. Windmill Acres is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since Melanie exhibits cattle and hogs all across the country. It was just right to include this in to her photoshoot. Let me tell you about their collection of Farmall antique tractors. It was spectacular! Melanie’s favorite part about Pawpaw’s farm is all of the life lessons she has learned there.

Melanie has so many accomplishments already and I know she makes her parents proud. She has started applying to colleges for fall 2016. University of Tennessee has accepted her but the decision has not be made. She wants to continue along the lines of agricultural and she will be majoring agricultural business.
