This engagement session makes me speechless. My first time to Max Patch and it will be unforgettable. Located on the Appalachian Trail, the bald mountain has breathtaking 360-degree views of the Great Smoky Mountains, Balsam Mountains, and Black Mountains. When I met with Karissa, she said wanted golden hour photos and rolling blue mountain views. Max Patch is the perfect spot for engagement photos in the most perfect setting on the Blue Ridge. Look at Karissa and Stephen how the sun’s glow wraps around them. Don’t let that glow fool you though. When we parked at the bottom, with snow on the ground, it was 39 degrees and continued to drop especially after sunset. I adore the adventurous ones that chase the light with me. Those are the magical ones that make me giddy and say words like stunning and superb. They are pure gold and I’m so happy they are here.
