After the holidays are over and the first of the New Year is here, it becomes an off season for most wedding photographers like Jodi Gray Photography. We wish we could say it’s a vacation of nothing but lazy days filled with Netflix and pajamas but at this time of the year is when we get ready for the year.
The holidays are the most popular time to get engaged. Jodi Gray Photography is busy marketing and advertising for the newly engaged couples. This is also a busy time where our calendar fills up and we start working with upcoming 2016 weddings. Also January can be the month for bridals shows, Jodi Gray Photography is a vendor of Marry Me. The Marry Me, bridal show is hosted by Triad Weddings Magazine, which we love advertising with. The night is full of vendors from the Triad area that are top wedding professionals. You can enjoy the night with champagne and hors d’oeuvres. The best part of the whole night is a drawing for prizes! A little black box giveaways! Jodi Gray Photography likes to give away $300 gift certificates! January 14, 2016, was our second time being in the show, we had done the previous August show.
Last August show and our first show, we loved our set up! Though it’s always good to change things up. Before Christmas, Jodi had purchased two Kate Spade 30″ bridal balloons! On her drive home from a shopping trip with one of her best friends, she knew exactly what the January Marry Me was gonna be like! Kate Spade inspired. We love all things, Kate Spade! A touch of gold and some sparkles. Bows and hot fuchsia flowers from the wonderful ABBA design. Anything pok-a-dot worked too, just like lovely Ashley’s skirt! Everything came together so nice! Can’t forget the help of lighting from K2 Productions and linens and chairs from Southern Event Rentals.
