Kim and Hal’s anniversary session is one of my favorite anniversary sessions to date! Kim has been my second shooter for over a year and it goes without speaking that our professional relationship has blossomed into an amazing friendship. When I got word that one of my all-time FAVORITE wedding venues, Summerfield Farms, brought back “Terrace Thursdays” I knew I had to call Kim for some much needed girl time. If anyone asks, girl talk and margaritas on the terrace is what dreams are made of. While sipping margaritas, laughing, and reminiscing on life Kim could not stop talking about how surreal it is to celebrate nine years of marriage. Can you imagine? Nine years and three kids later the spark is still there! I take it back. Growing old with your best friend while watching your children grow is what dreams are made of. A photographer has the gift to capture a moment in history and I knew I needed to share that gift with Kim. Next thing I knew I was looking through my camera lens at the beautiful couple imagining how much more their love will grow in the next nine years.
