Drew and Whitney’s intimate Biltmore Estate wedding two weeks ago was nothing short of incredible. You may remember Drew and Whitney’s dreamy Sauratown Mountain Engagement Session in Westfield, NC {here}, but if you don’t, it is definitely worth a quick look. I immediately fell in love with Whitney and very soon after Drew too, since the day I met them 3 months ago, and it surely was a short time but still bittersweet that our time together as an engaged, now married couple has come to an end. I am sure these two will be lifelong clients and, even more wonderfully, lifelong friends.
Drew and Whitney made the trip down from Virginia with a small group of their friends and family. They decided to do a destination wedding in the Asheville, NC at The Biltmore Estate with all their closest friends and family. Not only was the wedding day amazing, but they were able to relax and soak in the mountains and scenery with all their loved ones. The Biltmore Estate is the most historic and magical place beyond belief but to get married there is beyond amazing.
We arrived early to capture Whitney getting ready with her mom. Things stayed really calm by doing a ‘first look’ fairly early and we had ran over to the front of the house and found the perfect spot under a terrace of vines. Whitney, Drew and we then continued around the grounds and got a bunch more bride and groom photos. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The rest of the wedding was as beautiful as it was fun. We also had the chance to go back to the Biltmore House for more photos before the gate closed! There were tons of beautiful details, but the focus was still on the couple and their love.
