I love any great love story and it was such a privilege to shoot Emily and Jacob engagement photos on Pilot Mountain, it’s so pretty during the Spring too. This is the location of where their proposal took place! Here’s how it happen…  “Jacob had been away traveling and I had a really rough week while he was gone because our family dog had passed away. He promised me that we would do something fun when he got home that weekend. I was getting really aggravated with him because all day Saturday we were just sitting around the house, so finally, he took me out to run some errands to get me out of the house. Little did I know what he really had planned. When we got to his house he said he wanted to go up to pilot mountain to try out a new scope that he had bought and to see how far he could see and then meet his parents for dinner in Pilot Mountain. So we drove up there and walked around to a few different spots and were looking through the scope. We went down to the outlook near the parking lot and he pointed out a few things. Then he said what’s that down there in the field and I looked through the scope and finally found what he was talking about. Down in a field miles away from the peak of Pilot Mountain stood our family and a few friends holding huge signs that said will you marry me?  And I turned around and he was down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together!”

So perfect just like them! This proposal makes me teary eye, great job Jacob! Congratulations Emily and Jacob!
